The Right Mobile Strategy

Simply having a mobile site is not enough. It has to be the right site, a site that people will actually use.

What to do?

1. You are not your users. Don't add features and content simply because you like it. Find out what your users want. Do research. Plan.

2. Keep learning about what your users want. What they want today may not be what they want tomorrow.

3. People use mobile sites differently than they use websites on a PC. Learn the difference.

4. Become a "user for a day." Forget your role of running the winery. Pretend you are a customer. Does your site give you what you want or are you wasting your time? If you are wasting your time, how do your customers feel about their time?
