Black Friday Mobile Commerce
Prediction from Google: Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving that traditionally opens up the Christmas shopping season will be of great importance to mobile commerce.
Google AdMob predicts that 15% of Black Friday searches will be done on Mobile. And while not everyone who searches on mobile will buy off a mobile site, 65% of users polled in this study said they use mobile searches to buy in-store.
What this means is that if a mobile search cannot bring up a mobile site for your business, you have less chance of acquiring that customer either via a web purchase or visiting your winery.
Google also says that there will be a great deal of last-minute shopping from mobile searches. Retailers with mobile sites stand to benefit far more than those without.
