QR Codes, which allow people with smartphones to take a picture of the code and automatically be transferred to a particular website rather than typing in the URL, are not being used as often as marketers have hoped.
In a new report by comScore, findings show that QR Codes are far from gaining mainstream adoption. It found that those who do use the codes are primarily young and affluent males.
